Welcome to Allure Captured Photography! I'm April, a professional family, portrait, wedding and event photographer based in Yardley, PA and I'm so happy to have you here.
For over a decade, I dedicated my skills to the world of administrative work, but my heart was always drawn to the captivating art of photography. The desire to freeze moments in time, capturing the essence of joy, love, and success, led me to embark on an exciting journey into the world of professional photography.

I. The Basics
I have lived in Bucks County, PA my entire life. I come from a large family full of energetic children and lots of entertaining stories! As many other Levittown-ers, a lot of those stories involve V&S pizza, sledding at the Bolton Mansion, watching the St. Patrick’s Day parade from lawn chairs on New Falls Rd., whiffle ball, man hunt and the list goes on…
II. The Journey
Let’s just say… It’s been a lot of trial and error! Haha! But really, I’ve made mistakes, I’ve spent too much time worrying about the thoughts and opinions of others and it wasn’t always pretty. It took me a long time to follow through with the decision to do exactly what makes me happy and I am so glad I finally did. Since making that decision, I am able to be truly happy and look forward to what the future will bring!
III. The Now
I am a mom of 3 insanely smart, beautiful kids, I am the very proud wife of one VERY patient, tolerant, loving and hard working man, I have a pretty awesome bond and love/hate (BUT I’m the only one allowed to hate them) relationship with my 3 sisters and little brother. I love spoiling my niece and nephew with sugar and making them think I’m more fun then their parents. We are a crazy, fun, huge-hearted group that I love being part of.
- I eat WAY too much ice cream.
- I have zero perception of time when I’m editing photos.
- I’d rather stay up until 3am than wake up at 5am.
- I have a weird obsession with touching everything when I’m shopping, to see how soft it is.
- I am usually complaining about how cold or hot I am.
- I either binge watch a new show or watch the same movies over and over again.
My Love for Photography

I am blessed with a giant, blended family that makes me constantly want to make moments last a little longer. Our lives are full of birthdays, holidays, school events, sports, you name it.. we probably have it scheduled or forgot to schedule it! The only thing we get to take from all of the life “things” are the memories and I have a true passion for savoring those memories. They are so important and we don’t get enough time to enjoy them. Photography is my way of helping myself, my family and all of you get to take a little more from these moments - big, small and everything in between!

My Vision
What sets me apart is my love for people and passion for design using photography. I find joy in connecting with individuals, learning about their dreams, and celebrating their achievements. That joy, accompanied by my love for design, makes me the perfect person for your photography dreams from start to finish. From the session/event, all the way to physically putting those photos into your home in the perfect places. I go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable while I capture your photos so that your authentic self, your joy and beauty shine through. From there, I can help place those photos through out your home, using your very own photographs as wall decor or beautiful albums to place on your table tops.
Today people are investing money in photography sessions, events and even weddings just to keep all of those moments hidden away as digital files on their phone or computer. My goal for 2024 is to help you see how much more you get out of your investment and how great it feels to see your memories IN YOUR HOME! Walking up your stairwell and that framed photo of your kids playing or you and your husband kissing for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. adds a whole new feel and perspective to everyday life. Don't sell yourself short with digital files that most of us don't have the time to go back to search for.
